2/9/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Tuesday

Today my school had a snow day!  Whooo!  This meant hiking in the snow with my dogs and husband...one of my favorite ways to exercise!  It was absolutely beautiful outside.  The snow was falling and our farm was covered in a thick blanket of snow.  What I found so amusing is how DIFFICULT of a workout it was!  Usually when we just walk our driveway without snow up and back is about 20 minutes.  But, with about a foot of snow (total accumulation from two snowstorm's) trekking through that thick powder took us about 35 minutes.  I was pouring with sweat from just walking our driveway...I felt pretty pathetic.  I was shocked when I found myself thinking about how after just walking down the driveway I was wishing my husband would just walk back, get the car, and pick me up.  Isn't that sad?  However, I kept ploughing ahead and finally made it back.  Walking through all that snow had to burn a considerable amount of calories, right?

Exercise: 35 minutes hiking through about a foot of snow

Lots of people are worried to express their thoughts, for anxiety about alienating a prospective customer.
Many other authors don't fully grasp their subject material in the least or they are scared to reveal any specific "secrets".
This post is really a nice exception.
